Will Any Oscar Nominee Arrive on the Red Carpet With a Parent as Their Guest?

How it works

This market resolves to “Yes” if any official nominee for a competitive 2026 Academy Award is confirmed by a Source Agency to be accompanied by a parent on the official red carpet prior to the ceremony. For the purposes of this market, a "parent" is strictly defined as a biological parent, adoptive parent, step-parent, or childhood legal guardian. Other relatives do not qualify unless they held official legal guardianship. The qualifying parent does not need to be the nominee's sole guest. Otherwise, this market resolves to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be the official red carpet broadcast, corroborated by entertainment reporting from a Source Agency. The official resolution sources are the agencies listed in RULE 14.67 in the CDNA Rulebook, which can be found here [https://www.nadex.com/rules/]. Liquidity may be low during the event. Trading is temporarily paused during scheduled maintenance periods.
